• What is Recover / Use / Keep?Recover is contingency on what is collected (default about 35%) — free to place. Use is metered credits for skip, AI, and tools at cost × site-owner markup (default about 1.3×); new desks get 1,000 welcome credits. Keep is a free retention allowance; overage bills as storage credits on the same meter. No required monthly to start.
• How do credits work?Each tool burn costs credits equal to provider cost times the owner markup on the desk. Welcome credits are granted once when you agree. Humans and agents share one credit ledger. Owner markup lives in the database — not a local guess.
• What billing modes can I pick at /agree?Contingency only, usage only, or both (recommended). Contingency-only desks can place; usage tools still need credits or a mode change. Usage-only skips the contingency fee on collected. Both combines contingency on recovered with credits for tools.
• Resolve vs Collect vs Chargebacks — which door?Resolve is for people who got a call or letter — a calm consumer channel and legitimacy check. Collect is for freelance collectors joining the Exchange waitlist. Chargebacks is for merchants listing unjustified or friendly-fraud losses as placements. Creditors who are owed money start a file at /agree.
• What about out-of-statute (OOS) accounts?Some accounts may still be collectable in a soft sense but not suable under the applicable statute of limitations. Owedly does not turn OOS paper into a lawsuit product. Compliance gates and lawyer-gated templates apply; we do not advise you to sue time-barred debt.
• Do you promise recovery rates or win rates?No. We never publish or promise win rates, recovery percentages beyond the contingency fee itself, or guaranteed outcomes. Collections and chargeback results depend on facts, evidence, networks, and law.
• Agency in a Box — what is it?Signed-in desks get a multi-agent floor (Desk Lead, Closer, Compliance, Skip, Disputes, QA). Pack bodies are lease-gated; core desk chat stays available. Outbound Agency Floor actions pass a compliance gate first.
