Terms of use
Contingency, credits, agents, and a hard compliance gate — with no promise that money comes back.
- AgreementBy using Owedly (including /agree, /app, Resolve, Collect, and Chargeback Hub) you agree to these terms (version 2026-09-14) and our Privacy policy. If you place paper for others, you represent you have authority to do so.
- Contingency collection (Recover)When you choose contingency or both, Owedly (or its operators) may take a contingency percentage of amounts collected on placements you authorize — default about 35% unless your desk settings or agreement say otherwise. Placing is free; you can clear a file when the product allows.
- Metered credits (Use) and KeepSkip, AI, APIs, and tools burn credits at cost × site-owner markup. New desks may receive welcome credits once. Keep is a free retention allowance; storage overage uses the same credit meter. Optional desk monthly is never required to start. Usage-only mode skips contingency on collected but still meters tools.
- Agency in a Box agentsSigned-in desks may use multi-agent assistants (Desk Lead, Closer, Compliance, Skip, Disputes, QA). Pack content can be lease-gated. Agent output is assistive — not legal advice — and must still pass product rules before outbound action.
- Compliance gateOutbound Agency Floor actions are fail-closed through a compliance gate (including deceased/bankruptcy marks and dialer disarm rules). You remain responsible for your licenses, scripts, consent, and FDCPA / state law compliance. Lawyer-gated templates stay gated until cleared.
- No guarantee of recoveryOwedly does not guarantee that any account will pay, that any chargeback will be won, or any win rate / recovery rate. Outcomes depend on facts, evidence, networks, and law. Out-of-statute paper may be collectable in limited ways but is not a promise you can sue.
- Acceptable useNo harassment, no illegal threats, no SSN/PAN phishing forms on Owedly surfaces, no uploading data you lack rights to process, and no attempting to bypass auth or the compliance gate.
- Service changesFeatures may be stubbed, waitlisted, or changed (including Protect alerts and Collect Exchange). We may update these terms; continued use after notice of a new terms_version (shown at /agree) constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.
